CYCLADES, Naxos. 4th century BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 11 mm, 1.14 g, 5 h). Head of Dionysos to left, wearing wreath of ivy and fruit. Rev. N-A Kantharos with ivy leaves on handles; above, bunch of grapes. BMC 8-12. HGC 6, 641. Nicolet-Pierre, Naxos II, Canthare 1a, 1-6. SNG Copenhagen 709. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
